This sumptuously printed 78-card Tarot deck, designed by David Sheridan in full colour, comes complete with instructions by Alfred Douglas on how to read the cards, including meanings of all 78 cards in upright and reversed positions. The David Sheridan Tarot designs also illustrate the book, 'The Tarot: the origins, meaning and uses of the cards' by Alfred Douglas. The Sheridan Douglas Tarot deck was first published in 1972 and sold well for a decade before becoming unavailable. By 2005 scarce examples of this deck were being bought by collectors for up to $450. This new edition was published to wide acclaim in 2006.
